Jemal Lilly - Assistant to the Executive ChairmanMr. Lilly has a varied background working and creating in the public sector and in private industry, including entrepreneurial endeavors and leading a nonprofit/NGO. As a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley Mr. Lilly’s study emphasis in agriculture and resource economics along with cross-cultural studies (anthropology) propelled him into a 15-year career in economic development, facilitating socially responsible access to tens of millions of dollars of federal funds for businesses, local governments and nonprofits. Simultaneously Mr. Lilly founded a successful organic and biodynamic produce business that led to innovative and beneficial food-supply and experiential-education collaborations with Southern California school districts that were pioneering at the time and that have become standard over the ensuing 20 years. Those agricultural activities led to international collaborations including a carbon net-negative biofuel project designed for small-farmer cooperatives to provide low-emissions, nontoxic fuel (biodiesel and bio-jet fuel), as well as food, fertilizer, cosmetics and medicine all from a single non-GMO plant. These endeavors also spawned successful forays into phytoremediation (cleansing polluted soil and water using only plants) and eco-friendly mining techniques. Mr. Lilly brings a business ethic centered on economic evolution and innovative creation of resources, rather than merely extracting resources under the fallacious and destructive paradigm of “economic growth”. This enables him to contribute to the Oicintra team in ways that are profitable and that truly enhance people’s lives, society and the environment. |

Ms. Marilyn Garcia, Vice President Mexico 'International Affairs', Oicintra, Inc.Ms. Garcia has diverse experience in several entrepreneurial endeavors. From an early age she began working with the pioneering family business deploying "Center-Pivot” irrigation for commercial crops in Washington (U.S.A.). This instilled a strong work ethic and interest for agriculture, natural resource conservation and business. In the early 1990s Ms. Garcia expanded into varied and successful entrepreneurial endeavors in commercial real-estate and co-ownership of a parlor offering fine cigars and top-shelf spirits, while also organizing philanthropic events (pro-am tournaments, etc.) in the Seattle, Washington area as “Ms. Fila” (athletic apparel). In that lighthearted endeavor, she represented PGA amateur events, promoting and marketing each hole to drive business to locally owned establishments with a portion dedicated to charity, nonprofit organizations and socially/economically disadvantaged demographics. In the late 2000s, Ms. Garcia relocated to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico where she continued her entrepreneurship, owning commercial property and operating a successful health-food restaurant, internet café, juice bar and spa, while continuing in real-estate sales and vacation rentals. During this time Ms. Garcia expanded into socially-responsible business endeavors, by collaborating in the creation of an innovative carbon net-negative biodiesel, bio-jet fuel and high-protein food production project designed for cooperatives to propel small and indigenous farmers in five countries (U.S., Mexico, Nigeria, Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire) into international industry. From there, Ms. Garcia went on to serve on an international board as an agronomist and worked in California with a biodynamic produce business. This synergized with additional eco- friendly endeavors including cleaning polluted soil and water using phytoremediation (using plants to remove pollution). Lastly, these activities culminated in the application of non-toxic, low-emissions, non-GMO technologies, to eco-friendly mining techniques that can be applied with great efficacy to projects in the U.S., Latin America, Southeast Asia and Africa. |
